Group Classes are a great way to train and socialize your dog at the same time! Our Group Classes focus on teaching fundamental skills (sit, stay, etc.), tricks, and specific behaviors. Through these classes, we aim to strengthen the human-animal bond between you and your pet.

Dog Classes | $199
Dog Classes include Life Skills 1 and Life Skills 2 and are for dogs 14 weeks of age and older. Dogs learn foundation behaviors that make living in the human world easier, as well as more complex behaviors like cooperative care.
Dogs may repeat the Life Skills classes as many times as desired (as class space allows) at 50% of the original cost of classes ($100).
Canine Good Citizen Preparation | $125
This is a four-session, modular course for students working toward earning their Canine Good Citizenship title through the American Kennel Club. The CGC test is a 10-step process that evaluates a dog’s ability to behave in a public setting.
Completing the CGC test is often the first step in therapy dog and service dog training.
Tricks & Treats | $125
Tricks and Treats is an opportunity to practice your training techniques with your dog in a fun, non-stressful environment. This class teaches twelve beginner tricks to allow dogs to earn their Novice Trick Dog title through “Do More With Your Dog.” At the end of each class, students will have time for “show & tell,” where the instructor can witness their tricks for the DMWYD application. This class is appropriate for dogs over 16 weeks of age to geriatric and is taught by Hailey Sweet.
Boomers & Beyond | $125
Boomers & Beyond is specifically for pet parents who are 55 and over and their dogs! If you would like your dog to listen to you, walk without pulling on a leash, greet guests without jumping, or just have some fun and learn about dog behavior, this is the class for you.
We’ll work on the foundation behaviors of sit, down, stay, walking, waiting at the door, not jumping, leave it, drop it, and a few dogs. This class is fun for dogs and their people!
Vetphobia 1 | $125
Does your dog pace, pant, whine, hide, shiver, shake, or growl at the veterinary hospital? Are annual exams a nightmare for you and your dog? Is it impossible to trim his/her toe nails? Join Stepping Stone owner and director, Julie Shaw in a four-week class on helping your dog through its vetphobia.
Cooperative Care | $125
Cooperative Care focuses on preventing vetphobia from happening and teaching your dog how to be an active participant in his or her own health care.
This class is for dogs that currently do not have a significant problem with handling and care. Please refer to the Vetphobia 1 class for dogs that currently have a fear of the veterinary hospital or groomer.
